What is Cut off mark

Cut off mark is a score set by the university management as a basics of admitting students into a particular department of study. This score is usually determined based on the students/ aspirants performance in UTME and post UTME. Only candidates who meet up with the set cut off mark will be eligible and considered for admission provided all other criteria are met.

Note: Meeting up with the set cut off mark does not guarantee admission, there are still other criteria that has to be met.

Some of the other criteria include having the required credit score in compulsory subjects for o’level, Jamb subject combination, and the age limit for admission.

LASU Cut off Mark 2023

The general jamb cut off Mark for LASU 180. This means only candidates who score 180 and above and choose the federal university of technology, Owerri as first choice can proceed to apply for admission to study.

LASU Post UTME Eligibility

  • Candidates who score exactly or above the required cut off mark.
  • UTME Candidates who chose Lagos state University as their first choice of institution.
  • Candidates are also required to obtain the compulsory O’level credits for their programmes as specified in JAMB Brochure.
  • Candidate must be at least 16 (Sixteen) of age.

Note: Candidates who wish to study in Lagos state University but didn’t pick the school during the UTME Registration should proceed to any JAMB accredited centre to do changing of institution to LASU.
